I am sick of hearing about Aruba
I was following the Natalee Holloway disappearance and feel bad for her family, but enough is enough. I don't think her body will be found as I think it is out in the ocean some where. I also don't think they will ever convict anyone in this case.
I am just tired of seeing it beat to death on the news.
Anyway, a short post today. I am really tired today, probably from the heat.

Well it seems like summer is finally here. I am sure lucky I live near the coast as it is only about 80 degrees right now here, but as you go inland it is really hot. It was neat watching the thermometer in my car as I drove from the beach home from work today. It was 73 degrees at the base and it is 80 over where I live which is about 7 miles inland. Quite amazing.
I guess the strip club case against two San Diego City Councilmen has gone to the jury. I think these guys are going to hang as there seemed to be quite a lot of evidence. Anyway, when the verdict comes out I will post about it.
And they had to cancel the shuttle lift off. I thought NASA is making this the safest flight to ever launch. And they are still having problems, hum, if I were a crewmember I would worry a little.
Well that is it for the day. I have some work to do.

I heard about this yesterday and since I couldn't find any links I figured I'd wait. Anyway it seems like a group of representatives representing 17 of their 20 political parties are getting together to change their Constitutional form of government to a Parlimentary form of Government. They are also going to oppose and opposition to the Arroyo Presidency while they are trying to impeach her.
This is the biggest bunch of bull I have heard in a while. They already know that there are not enough votes to impeach Arroyo. An so now they are proposing to change the entire form of government? I knew there was a lot of curruption in the government there but these folks are now stooping to new lows.
I feel really bad for the people of the Philippines, as the corruption just keeps getting worse all the time. I will link you to Laila's blog, as she has all the links.

I got home from a busy day and started reading through the news and a few blogs and came across this shocking article. The bad thing is that it may be true.
Al-Qaida nukes already in U.S.
While this story may or may not be true, it should scare everyone living here. It also bothers me that Congress and the President don't seem to care about securing the border. I have a feeling it might take a few nukes going off before they get the message and start securing the borders. At least San Diego was not on their list of possible targets. Probably because they are living here like the 9/11 hijackers.

Wow, am I lazy today. Last night I logged off the PC early and was going to go to bed, but started watching something on the boob tube. I went to bed shortly after midnight and woke up this morning about 5:30. I did one of those, oh yeah, no work today things and rolled over and slept until about 8:30.
I watched a little TV news while in bed as the wife was already up and about and then went back to sleep until 10:30. I woke up and watched a little more TV and finally hoisted myself out of bed at 11:30.
After some breakfast I went and soaked in the bathtub for about an hour and a half. So as you can see my day has been pretty unproductive. I think it will continue to be that way too.
The wife has my car since she had a little fender bender on the way home last week. It is in being repaired. She was driving my son’s car but he is up visiting his girlfriend, so I am home alone, with no wheels and not much to do. I am cooking a roast for dinner if that could be considered productive.
Anyway that is my lazy Sunday. Actually it feels good to do this once in a while to keep my sanity. Also gets me energetic for the workweek.
Before I close today’s entry I would like to say my thoughts are with the folks in the Pensacola area, who just got pounded by Hurricane Dennis. I hope there wasn’t too much damage and that you will be able to return to your homes soon.

If he runs he gets my vote on the issue of illegal immigration alone. No member of congress has been willing to address this problem as it would be racist. If someone breaks into your house and you call the police, is that racist? Same thing here, they have broken into our country and it is time they were rounded up and sent home.
All you have to do is look at what happened in London last week and know that we are susceptible to the same attacks. And what is even more scary, is that the city of London unlike any large cities in the United States has cameras everywhere and they still haven’t identified these terrorists.
England has had very lax immigration laws as well as many other countries in Europe. They are now seeing the result. How many terrorists are lurking now across our porous borders just waiting to blow us up as we are attending a ball game or shopping in a mall? Any place where large groups of people congregate are targets.
So if Mr. Tancredo runs, since he will do something about it he has my vote. Read about what he said here:

I woke up early, before the clock went off, so I switched on the news prior to showering and all. I was shocked to see that London had been bombed. I speak for my entire family when I send my condolences to the British people.
These Al Quada folks are trash and need to be eliminated from the planet. It is only a matter of time before the events in London are repeated here in the United States as our borders are not protected.
Will this finally wake up our elected officials in Washington to our border problems? Probably not, but one can hope. I was cruising around some of my regular blog hangouts. I lurk several places and all are outraged. I hope our congressmen and senators get the message.
It is time that we took the gloves off and start hitting these folks hard. We need to stop worrying about Gitmo and Abu Grabib, and hit these folks hard. It is the only thing they understand.
This should be a wakeup call for all. Everyone, where ever you live is a potential target for these folks. You are not safe anywhere on this planet until these terrorists are eliminated from the face of the earth.

Today while driving home at lunch I was listening to John Gibson, filling in for Bill O'Reilly on the Radio Factor and he was talking about the Groene kidnapping and murder case. I watched more about it today on Fox News and I am really mad about how this animal Joseph Edward Duncan III, was allowed to be on the streets in the first place. I agree with the father Steve Groene, "People like this should not be allowed in public."
Here are some sections from the article that I found especially chilling.
Duncan, 42, of Fargo, N.D., a convicted sex offender on the run from an earlier child molestation count, was charged Tuesday in 1st District Court with two counts of first-degree kidnapping.
The intent of the crimes, court documents said, was to rape, seriously injure or commit a lewd and lascivious act on a child under 16 years old. Duncan has not been charged with anything other than the kidnapping counts, which can carry the death penalty or life in prison.
Duncan had spent more than a decade in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy at gunpoint in Tacoma, Wash., and was a fugitive at the time of his arrest after he was charged with molesting the boy in Minnesota.
Shasta and Dylan Groene's aunt, Wendy Price, told FOX News she wants the judge who released Duncan to be held accountable and she also said future cases similar to this one must be prevented.
"I believe every judge who lets these people out of jail with these low bails, slap-on-the-wrist convictions ... something has to be done. We have to start looking into the records of these judges," Price told FOX.
In his interview with FOX News, Steve Groene said he couldn't believe an "animal" like Duncan could have been released on $15,000 bail. He said he wanted to get involved in pushing through legislation that could prevent that from happening again.
This guy was a repeat offender let loose on $15,000 bail. This judge should go on trial as an accomplice. Here is the entire article:
