A little ticked off

I am a little bit ticked off right now and so the easiest way to get rid of anger is to of course blog about it.  For the past several weeks one of the federations has been hitting our lower members and the lower members of the allied federations.  As one of the higher level empires in our federation I have been hitting them back when the occasion arises.

Well over the weekend some of the leaders and LT’s of the different allied feds got together and we decided to do something about it.  Last night was the time set up for us to attack and after making sure we had enough OP posters and all we all put a couple people out to attack this fed.

All was well until one of our guys started putting the people we were trying to attack in and refusing to hit others.  He then went on a tear DPing all kinds of other friends and trashed our entire reset time for the evening.

I wound up not being able to go out until after 10 PM and as a result had to leave my empire unattended and out so I could go to bed.  I have to get to bed no later than 11:30 or there is no way I will get up on time for work and prayers with Laila.

So now friend or no friend I am considering kicking this player out of the federation since his loyalties are elsewhere in the game and he could care less about team mates.  I will talk to Joe and Sam about it today when I get home, but I have had enough of this kind of crap.  If you join a fed your loyalties lie with the fed and not people that are attacking your fed mates.

So I guess that is enough on that and on to something completely different.  OK so O. J. Simpson is in jail again for armed robbery and now it is all you see on the news.  Please get that wife killing jerk off my TV set, because I don’t want to see it.  By covering him 24/7 you are only feeding his ego.  Just pull all the reporters and get rid of all the cameras because no one cares about this double murdering piece of crap.  Just let him rot in jail and leave him be.  Not being in the press all the time would be punishment worse than death for this ego maniac.

So everyone is all shocked that the Emmy Awards turned political and that Ray Romano and Sally Fields got beeped out.  Well I never watched Ray Romano and now I never will and Sally Fields has made my do not watch list with Ed Harris, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Richard Gere, Danny Glover and a few others.  I don’t need these people and when I see them on my TV my stomach turns so why watch them.

They do not appreciate the country that gave them the opportunity to gain their wealth and popularity so I say to hell with them.  Let them go live in France or some other socialist country.

Oh and I guess Hillary care is back on the table.  Let’s see, so Joe Blow who doesn’t have a job or has made that career choice to work at McDonalds for his career can’t afford health care.  I on the other hand who have been working all my adult life will now have to pay higher taxes because Joe Blow was to lazy or too stupid to advance himself into a job that provides him the means for getting health care.  And I am sure Hillary’s plan will of course provide health care for all our illegal visitors.

Socialized health care does not work, ask anyone from Canada or England.  When it takes six months of waiting to get to see a specialist because the government has now taken it over then lets see how happy you are with Hillary care.

Well I guess that is all for now.  I have gotten myself calmed down and will now go watch the fun in the lab.

A little sore

I don’t know what is causing it but I have one hell of a pain in my back today.   It didn’t affect my ability to go to work or anything but I have been uncomfortable all day.  I managed to finish up all the classroom work for the current class and I have all the practice troubleshooting problems installed so I can now take it easy for the rest of the day and just sit and work on power points.

Yesterday I made a mistake and watched the Chargers get slaughtered by the New England Patriots.  I live in one of those bandwagon cities where if all is going great the fans flock to the stadium and support the team.  This morning one of the news stations had a poll asking if the Chargers could recover from the defeat and about 70% answered no.  So I guess the bandwagon has stopped for this season and it is still early.

At least they got their butts handed to them and didn’t blow the win like the Oakland Raiders did.  I was in the chat with the fed mates while we were all watching and commenting on the various games we were watching.  I was shocked when the Raiders tied the score with the Broncos and made a few comments.  They were like when do you think they will blow it.  When Janokowski mad the first kick I was shocked, but then when he missed the second one I was not surprised.  After that I knew Denver was going to win.

It was a little depressing to be in the chat while the Chargers were getting killed.  I was catching flack from many fed members that know I live in San Diego, but it was all in fun.  When 8 PM rolled around and I was sure they were not going to make a come back I switched over to the Emmy Awards to watch the Hollywood Idiots pat themselves on the back.

I added a new Idiot to my do not watch list  I figured some know nothing script reader would go totally ballistic at the awards show and start some Anti-Bush stuff or bash the war effort, but it surprised me when the Idiot turned out to be Sally Fields.  She even got beeped out for profanity.

I wonder why during World War II Hollywood actors made films supporting the war effort or enlisted in the service, but the people there now bash the war effort and the presidency.  I guess it is a sign of the times.  Here we are the most powerful nation on the planet, and the land of freedom that has been gained through that power.

I wonder what some of the people that were around in World War II think of today’s society.  I am sure they are as shocked as I am.  After Pearl Harbor everyone supported the war effort.  The willing accepted rationing of goods to support the war.  They purchased war bonds to fund it.  There was no shortage of man power to support the war effort because almost every able bodied person joined the military.

More people got killed on 9/11 than were killed at Pearl Harbor.  I don’t understand the lack of patriotism.  If people would have come out during World War II and pulled some of the protesting crap they are pulling now, they would be tarred and feathered.  I don’t understand how people can continue to ignore the problem posed with Radical Islam and the danger we are all in.

Back then they knew the dangers posed by Japan and Germany.  We went to war to keep that stuff from happening in the United States.  We purposely kept the war off our shores to protect those at home.  People knew the importance of it, unlike now.

It is inevitable that we will be hit again.  It will probably be bigger than the 9/11 attacks and it will devastate many areas of the country.

The new appeasement movement which I think came from the druggies of the sixties has basically taken root in our schools, news media, and entertainment venues.  I think everyone has this attitude that since we live in a big country that their town would be spared.  Ah, that stuff happened in New York and Washington.  They won’t hit me in San Francisco.  When a big attack comes that hits several cities at once and devastates the economy, travel, and safety, it will be too late to wake up and say “How did this happen?”   The next attack that they are already bragging about will be much bigger and all the talking head experts I have seen on TV are in agreement in that regard.

So while we continue to allow illegal immigration to run wild, and while the media, schools and entertainment industries keep pushing their left wing peace, love, dope way of life, I will pray that when the time comes my neighborhood will not be a target and that I have enough provisions to keep me and my family safe.

On another note over the weekend a huge fire broke out up near Julian and many people were forced to evacuate for a while.  I guess only one house was lost but over 1000 acres of land was burned and a few fire fighters were injured.  They said it was due to an illegal camp fire and I want to know if the illegal campfire was started by illegal aliens living in the canyons.  The San Diego area has been in a drought and the brush all over the county is dry and ripe for a devastating fire.  In many of these canyons illegal alien camps have been set up and they are just waiting for one of these camps to cause a very big fire.

Well I guess that is it for today.  It is time to get ready for the afternoon edition of work.

Learned something new

I don't know when they did it, but today as I was driving home from work on the eastbound 54 freeway between the I 5 and Highland Avenue I noticed a new sign that would make Laila proud.

California State Highway 54 has been named the Filipino American Highway.  It runs right behind my house and I guess one of these days I will take my camera and get her a picture of it.

I looked up some information on the net and at this
highway link I found the following information.

The portion of Route 54 from its westernmost point to its intersection with Route 125, in the County of San Diego, is officially named the "Filipino-American Highway". This segment was named in honor of the Filipino-American Community, which has made many contributions to California and the nation. Among the many past and present Filipino-American historical figures is Carlos Bulosan, a novelist and poet best known for the semi-autobiographical "America is in the Heart," who was active in labor politics along the Pacific coast of the United States and edited the 1952 yearbook for I.L.W.U. Local 37, a predominantly Filipino-American cannery union based in Seattle. Other Filipino-American historical figures include, Philip Veracruz, a labor leader who helped to found the United Farmworkers Union with Cesar Chavez, and Major General Edward Soriano, the only Filipino-American to have attained the rank of general in the U.S. Armed Forces. Major General Edward Soriano was born in Pangasinan and migrated to the United States with his family at an early age. In 2001, he was the director of operations, readiness, and mobilization at the office of America's Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans. In the County of San Diego, Filipino-Americans are the largest Asian Pacific Islander group, making up 4.3 percent of the population of the country, with many living in National City, Chula Vista, and Southern San Diego. Major Filipino-American groups in the County of San Diego include the Filipino American Educators Association of San Diego County, the Council of Philippine American Organizations of San Diego County, and the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of San Diego County. Named by Assembly Concurrent Resolution (ACR) 157, Resolution Chapter 145, on 9/12/2006.

So there you have it, something new and unexpected.

An interesting morning

This morning has been unbelievable so far.  Last night I spent a little too much time gabbing in the chat so I went to bed a few minutes late, but I did get up on time and Laila and I did our morning prayer routine and I posted OP and took care of some game stuff before leaving for work.

I left a little early because I expected security to be a little tight again today but I didn’t leave as early as I did yesterday.  Traffic was light all the way to the freeway onramp.  The freeway onramp was backed up all the way onto Plaza Blvd and I didn’t see any good reason for it.

The ramp is metered and I noticed it seemed to really be going slow.  Well when I got to the light I found out why.  The guy in the left lane was just sitting there.  I don’t know if he was talking on the cell phone, or if he broke down or what but there he sat with no emergency flashers or anything.  I am sure glad I didn’t get stuck behind him.  Anyway that was what was slowing everything down as everyone was cutting each other off trying to get into the right lane to get around that guy.

The freeway ride was fast and I made good time all the way down to Main Street (Right in front of the base) and there things came to a halt.  Traffic there was backed up about a quarter of a mile and not moving.  In fact the car in front of me was just dropping someone off and she got out and started walking to the gate.  She actually got through the gate before I did.

Anyway one of the reasons for the delay is that there are some people in this world that just do not have consideration for others.  Here you have a long backup of people trying to get to work and as was the case with the woman in front of me, she held up everyone to talk to the gate guard.  And it was not a short conversation either.  Maybe she was trying to get directions or something in which case she could have gone through the gate and asked any on of the hundreds of people walking around on their way to work.  But no, better to hold up scores of vehicles instead.

The base has a rule against talking on cell phones while driving but three times so far this week I have seen people talking on cell phones while driving on base, so I guess that is not being enforced.  I only griped about it today because I saw a woman hit a curb and drive all over the road while talking on her cell phone and I think that is dangerous, especially in the morning with many people doing PT before work.  There are always large groups of people running down the road behind the school every morning and that was the same road this lady was driving on.   I suppose someone is going to have to get run over before it starts getting enforced.

Also I heard the just about the dumbest thing I have head in ages on the radio this morning.  Someone in the California State Legislature has introduced SB-777.  I will look this up and post a link as soon as I get home.  Anyway this bill is going to eliminate some discriminatory words from being used in public schools.  What words are these you might ask?  The words listed are mom, dad, husband, and wife.  I guess they are discriminatory to same sex couples.

I have just about had enough of this crap.  I am tired of hearing about it, tired of the parades, and tired of people trying to force their views on me and children in elementary schools.  I don’t care the way they live their life and I will not discriminate against them for their lifestyle.  But I do not need it forced on me by anyone.  Gay is a choice and a sexual preference.  I do not talk to people about my sex life and do not want to hear about other peoples.  I want the news, politicians, and television shows to just stop all this gay agenda crap.  I have heard enough.

Well I guess I had better get started on the work day.

A little upset

I am really ticked off today about a few things.  The first thing that has me ticked is why, when I spend 6 to 7 hours a day posting op for folks to I have to let my empire out unattended?  It is because people don't show up before their empire goes out of DP and no one can go out for half an hour before the empire drops out.  That would have been plenty of time for me to reset

I am angry enough right now to just take a few days off and let them see how it goes when I am not there.  Especially since I had let everyone know that since today is the anniversary of 9/11 and they all know I work on a military base and security is always a lot tighter I would have to go to bed earlier.

Anyway last night because of some peoples self importance when I went to bed three people had not reset which is total BS with the amount of people we have posting and all.  Anyway that is enough complaining about that.

This morning I did get up early and I did leave early because I knew the gate was going to be a mess.  I was not wrong about that one.  The ride to the base was fast and uneventful but it took me 20 minutes to get through the gate (normally takes 5 minutes or less).

Since I left early and all I actually managed to get to my parking space a little early and ran over to the bowling alley and grabbed some breakfast.  So that was all good and I am here early with plenty of time to eat it and blog.  Actually I am the only one here, as I think my fellow instructors forgot what day it was.

The other thing that really has me ticked off is all the crap that has been going on with the General Petraeus and with the full page newspaper ad MOVEON.org placed about General Betray US.

Actually I guess in one way it was good they placed the ad.  It has enough people on both sides angry enough to damage the Democratic Party.  I guess when you are high all the time you don't think about the long term affects of you actions.  I think they actually hurt the Democratic Party and it was actually cool to see Nancy Pelosi, one of the most left wing of the bunch say it was uncalled for.

Also I guess everyone's favorite mourning mom, Cindy Sheehan was arrested yesterday for disrupting congress.  She has not been getting any play in the news so it was about time for her to step up and do something dumb.  Since this is not the first time I would hope that they give her some serious jail time this time.  No more quick release or posting bond, just keep her in there and let her rot.

Also there was some congressman Tom Lantos from northern California who spoke out calling the general a liar and all.  He is an immigrant from Hungary who somehow after becoming a college professor ran for congress and got elected.  This jerk goes around preaching about the evils of the United States (the country that took him in) and showed absolutely no respect for the General.  Well if you voted for this idiot be proud.  He insults the country that took him in and it is my feeling that he should have his citizenship revoked and have him sent back to where he came from.

Then he can talk out against that government, get jailed or killed, and we won't have to listen to his insults ever again.  And to the fine folks that supported this leftist hack, maybe you should join with San Francisco and Berkeley and just leave the Union and form the Peoples Republic of Drug Addicts or maybe The Peoples Republic of the Irresponsible.

I was listening to Michael Savage on the way home last night and besides this congressman he was livid about the fact that the San Francisco Film Commission and the Golden Gate Bridge Commission has denied a request from the United States Marine Corps to film a commercial on the bridge.  I don't know what it is with San Francisco.  It used to be one of the most popular places to go when you were on liberty and in uniform.  Now if I were on a ship going there for Fleet Week or something I would take leave to get out of going there.

They have turned so anti-military in that city and I think it has to do with the elected officials from there.  Lets see, they have Mayor Gavin Newsome who defied state law and allowed gays to get married.  But then marriage doesn't mean anything to him as he has been sleeping around on his wife.  Actually in that sick town that will be enough to get him reelected.  Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and Diane Feinstein all come from that area.  I am not even going to comment on that as it is self explanatory.

Well I have managed to get off track and started rambling so I guess I will go ahead and save this and get to work.

Another start to a busy week

Well it was back to work Monday and another quiet day turned busy after I finished with my class for today.  My class finished up OTCIXS today and they got tasked with moving some equipment from the building to the depot, while I was giving a test to one of the students that missed it last week.

Once he finished I went ahead and ran over to the transceiver classroom and lab and found that they were short of safety observers again.  Once I was able to go there they were able to get the entire class working on practice troubleshooting instead of six at a time.

This morning I did manage to get a bit flustered on the way to work.  From home to the base was no problem, but when I got on base traffic was all messed up again on the way to the building, because a couple of commands were doing physical readiness tests.  It has a tendency to really mess up traffic.

Anyway the topic of the day on the radio was the Mexican Truckers being allowed to drive freely on American highways.  The government says these trucks will be inspected, but we all know what that means.  Maybe abut 5 to 10 trucks will be inspected and the rest will be carrying drugs, people and maybe even terrorists.

Someone called in and said that they are allowing our truckers to drive there.  Yeah right, so they can be hijacked and all the goods taken I suppose.  Everyway I look at this I see it is a bad idea.  With tomorrow being the anniversary of the World Trade Center attack, should we really be giving free reign of our highways to foreigners?

Someone even called in about something Bill O'Reilly said about the SPP.  O'Reilly basically said that this was a conspiracy started by right wing kooks.  Since all the information is available right their on their government website http://www.spp.gov maybe Mr. O'Reilly should read it before dismissing it.

Rick Roberts pretty much called out O'Reilly by saying if it didn't raise O'Reilly's stature and popularity he wouldn't report about it.

So I guess that is about it for today.  Since all the students got back I don't even get a full lunch hour any more.  That is the one thing that has been bothering me about they way things have been going.  I am spending all my time working with two or three classes and it gives me no time for a break, like I used to get.

So that's it for today.

This is not good

This morning I got up on time and all, but took a little extra time getting ready for work so I was just a couple of minutes late getting to the PC to chat with Laila this morning.  We got our morning routine done and then I went ahead and fought traffic all the way to work.  There seemed to be a whole lot of traffic for a Friday morning even though when I got to the gate there was none.

On my way in I heard something on the radio that got me a little riled up.  They were talking about an assistant principle of a school that locked her 2 year old kid in a mini van and forgot about the kid until the baby was found dead in the mini van 8 hours later.  The temperature inside the van was 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

Seem the assistant principal had her day disrupted because it was her turn to buy donuts.  She remembered to take the donuts to work but forgot about the baby.  Also they said something about she had been warned three days prior about leaving her kid in the car.  I don’t know if this happened in San Diego or not, but I guess the district attorney was not filing charges as it was an accident.

This is involuntary manslaughter at least and she should get the maximum penalty.  I also think there is no way she should be allowed anywhere near a school.  I really don’t know what is going on with the legal system in this country.

If you are a famous Hollywood person you can get 2 drunken driving arrests and drug possession and get a light sentence ala Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohann and others.  You can even kill your wife and get away with it as in the case of O. J. Simpson and the guy that played Beretta (can’t remember the name at the moment).

I am wondering why this woman is getting off.  Was she a huge supporter of the District Attorney?  Maybe since she is union and the District Attorney maybe was the Union candidate that might explain it, who knows?  Something is fishy with this case.

The weekend is almost here again and though it was a short week it was a very busy one.  I will maybe do my laundry today and then I will just save the ironing and stuff for tomorrow.

There is a death match in the game tomorrow and I know Laila wants to play but I don’t really know that I am that excited about it.  I guess since the chair I use at my PC desk doesn’t really do a great job when I aggravate my back like I did yesterday.  When I sit too long I start getting stiff and then when I do get up it hurts even more.

A death match takes two hours of concentration and continual play and I don’t really feel up for it.  Maybe tomorrow I will be but not today.  I guess I will see when I get home as there is one tonight and one in the morning.  The rules limit you to playing one or the other to remain in the fed competition, so if not tonight maybe I’ll get up early tomorrow morning.

Last night I kicked someone.  First the clown hit an allies main for 80K planets and then working with some friends of his he caused an ally to lose 350K.  I can’t prove the second one beyond the shadow of doubt, but looking at the way he played for the two days he was in the fed there were just too many coincidences.

This is not the first time someone has infiltrated our fed and somehow Joe, Sam, Laila, and I are going to have to find a way to keep people like this from even getting into the fed.

I should actually turn this guy in for cheating as what he did was blatent.  He was having an empire hit him to give him retals and then using the retals to gain planets.  Then he would gain more retals and repeat the cycle.  This farming was definately cheating and I find it has been going on very often in this game.  I told him to knock it off and get back into DP but he continued to ignore what I was telling him and so I kicked him while he was out even though it is against federation policy.

The friends we figure he was cheating with, managed to get him in.  What was funny was that he had the nerve to start asking allied feds to take him in.  As far as I am concerned he is dead meat when ever I see him out of DP and I am sure people from the allied feds will hit him too.

Anyway, time to get going and get to work.  The sooner I get started the sooner I will get done and get to go home.

A busy day and not feeling well

I don’t know what I ate yesterday that is causing it but I sure feel sick to my stomach this morning.  I felt fine last night and I went to bed on time but this morning I was definitely not feeling well.  Now that I have drank some coffee and some water I feel better and it should be a light day so hopefully I will be fine.

Laila’s internet has been messing up again so she has been back on the phone with Bayantel.  I guess most of the folks in her area with different providers have been suffering the same problem, so it must be an overseas access thing.  I don’t know how they get their bandwidth.  Laila said she believes it is leased through a company in the U.S. which could be true.  I think it is more likely that as happened with PLDT they may have oversold their bandwidth.

Well Fred Thompson made it official last night on The Tonight Show by announcing that he is running for president.  I was disappointed that he was not at the New Hampshire Republican Party Debate last night.  I still don’t know where he stands on the issues.

As far as the debates go I thought both Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter did well in what I was able to watch.  Giuliani did not do so well in my book.  I am sick and tired of hearing about New York and what he did there.  Also I didn’t like the answer to the family value question that he gave.  If he is president his lifestyle and family values do come into play.  I still have to say though that currently I still haven’t found the right person from either party to earn my vote.

This morning was odd.  I came in and everything was unlocked and all, but none of the other staff members were here.  In fact all the students were here, but no staff other than me.  Finally about 7:30 one of the other instructors showed up.  It was just a bit strange to me.

I have my class on a break right now.  One of the students had a personal issue to take care of so I gave them a break until 8.  Then we will review and take the test and then I am going to make them really happy.  The Commanding Officer will be making a visit next week so after the test they will get to clean, clean and clean some more.  I have not told them yet but I do know how popular that is going to be.

Also today is another day to avoid the border as there is a protest on our side of the border today.  The Teamsters are protesting the NAFTA provision that will allow Mexican truck drivers to drive in the United States.  I guess we don’t have enough accidents on our roads and highways.

Well I guess that is about it for now.  I have to get ready to go give the test and see if our other instructor showed up yet.

It is later in the day and I am glad to have finally gotten around to doing something I have wanted to do for a long time.  In the OTCIXS lab all of the ON-143’s were at waste level or slightly higher and so it is fairly easy to swap modules without bending pins or damaging cables.

Station 25 was not like the other four stations and the ON-143’s were located at eye level.  The shorter students would have to use a chair to access them and additionally I have had to repair many circuit cards with bent pins and have repeatedly had to repair damage to the cable going to the black card cage.

Today after the test the class went into cleaning mode and I went ahead and decided to put a drawer for the patch cables under the patch panel.  I found some drawer slides while digging around in the file cabinet and we already had the extra drawer sitting on its side in one of the racks so I installed it and after some initial difficulties got it all aligned and working.

I then looked at station 25 and figured since I was in the moving mood I would lower the ON-143’s in the rack.  I should have had some help with the lifting and I know I will be a little sore later, but I found that I wouldn’t need a second person if I slid notebooks under the unit, then unbolted it and then removed the notebooks one at a time until it was where I needed it to be.

The first one was going well until I took out the last bolt then as I was lowering it one side went lower and the case got stuck in the rack.  I adjusted my notebooks and got it straightened out, but it did require some lifting.  I finally got it down to where I wanted it and got it bolted into place with little effort.

After that the second one was easier since I already knew what to anticipate.  That one was moved with no problems and so now I am taking a break.  I did get my but chewed out by two co-workers for lifting, but I assured them I am fine and all.  They watch over me like a hawk and don’t want anything to happen to me.  It is nice being appreciated.

So now that headache is gone forever and future classes will have it easier.  It should cut down on equipment problems with that station.

It is lunch time now and I feel a lot better than I did this morning.  I don’t know if it was something I ate or what but I am feeling good now.

I forgot to mention it but I am saddened by the death of Luciano Pavarotti.  I am not a big fan of opera music, but I heard him sing a few times and I know he did a lot for charity.  I send my condolences to his family.

Well time to get this wrapped up and saved.  Let me see what other stuff I can get done today.

Back to work after the long weekend

Oops, I’m guilty.  Yeah I didn’t update the blog all weekend and for that I apologize.  I just never thought to even log onto the blog.  Actually I was spending quite a bit of time away from the PC over the weekend.

I was doing infrastructure by timer and doing other things over the weekend.  What I do with the infrastructure thing is I set a timer for 5 minutes and then just come over and click the mouse when it goes off.

Other than that I practiced my cooking skills over the weekend and tried to stay cool in the heat wave we have been suffering through.  It have been really hot over 100 in the inland valley’s and with me being susceptible to heat related illness I had to take it easy.

I got all my laundry and stuff done Saturday and so the rest of the weekend was take it easy time.  I spent a lot of time just lying on the couch watching TV though I did do some cooking in the kitchen for breakfast and dinners.  Lunch was pretty much sandwiches, ice cream, or leftovers.

I watched a lot of movies over the weekend and some stuff on the history channel.  I really didn’t feel like doing very much of anything else.  I did not even want to have to go anywhere in the car.  Even though it is air conditioned and all it takes it a few miles to cool down and I would not even be able to bear the heat just waiting for it to get cool.

Anyway it’s back to work Tuesday now and we will be starting right out with the practice troubleshooting.  I have already loaded the faults and checked out everything.  Now I am just waiting for them to get back from their training session downstairs so we can get started.

Keeping that in mind it is time to save this and get ready for them to show up, so have a great time recovering from the weekend and I hope the workweek goes well.

Ready for the weekend

After a really busy morning, the day has finally calmed down a bit and I finally have a chance o write something for my blog.  It will be cool to have the three days off to rest up and get a few things done.

Today will be a nice to just stay at home and off the streets.  It seems that the teachers in Mexico are all holding some huge protest about low pay down along the border and so they have already said the south I 5 and I 805 will be closed south of the I 905.

I wonder if they are having problems with wages and stuff in Mexico, why are they protesting at the border?  It does not make much sense to me?

On the way to work all the radio talk shows were best of repeats so nothing new there.  The roads were empty this morning, probably a few folks starting the weekend early.  Anyway I hope they are still empty on the way home.  Today is payday so I think I will just buy food to take home so I don’t have to cook.  Either that or I will buy something I can throw in the oven and cook fast.

Well time to start getting things wrapped up so I can start the weekend.  Happy Labor Day weekend everyone.
